Boyce, I got pulled over by one of the motorbike speed gun grasses going far too fast on the motorway. Had my rights read to me and everything and haven't heard anything yet. This was the first week of March. Is there a window of opportunity for them to fine me?

It depends whether these are "civil" offences or road traffic offences. RTO they have to send a notice of intended prosecution and ensure it is served within 14 days of the alleged offence, that is to the registered keeper. If the registered keeper has not updated the record they have done all they need to do. Civil wrongs would depend on the regs that control them

So turns out the council failed to realise our address was changed, which promoted them to send letters to our old address, then left it 6 months to find out new address to send the letters to.
Solicitor involved thinks we'll just end up paying the initial fine, which is deserved. The stupid bint.
